Outpatient guidance.

Due to long waiting lists for special education or daycare centers, we see that children are increasingly staying at home for longer. Children with developmental delays or (suspected) diagnoses of, for example, MID and/or ASD problems, can enormously increase the difficulty of raising children. These children often have difficulty developing skills and learning new behavior. As an educator, it can be nice if a professional offers you support and takes care of the guidance at certain times.

Move2skool offers outpatient guidance to parents and children from 4 to 12 years old. We offer this program until a place becomes available for the child at a school, daycare center or other suitable organization. Based on the requests for help, concrete goals are set together with parents/guardians and those involved around the family and an evaluation moment takes place every 3 to 6 months.

Outpatient guidance can be designed in different ways:

Psychoeducation; Relieving parents; Parenting support; One-on-one guidance; Increasing self-confidence; Learning to maintain social contacts; Learning and applying structure in one day; Increasing independence and self-reliance.
